I’ve been playing with imaging data recently and found something, probably an asteroid, passing through the Kepler field of view. Its pretty relaxing if you loop it.

How far is Kepler from Earth at the moment? Is it well outside the orbits of, say, geostationary satellites?
Kepler is about 0.5 AU from Earth and pointing away from Earth. There is zero chance that we’re seeing geostationary satellites. In fact I’d guess there is almost zero chance that the object in the video is a man-made body.
